179D Energy Director

The 179D Energy Director is responsible for leading our energy efficiency projects, focusing on the 179D tax deduction. You will work with commercial building owners, architects, and engineers to identify energy-efficient improvements that qualify for tax incentives. This role demands a deep understanding of energy efficiency, IRS regulations related to the 179D deduction, and exceptional leadership to guide our clients through the qualification process.

  • Evaluate commercial buildings for energy-efficient improvements and eligibility for the 179D tax deduction.
  • Lead the preparation and review of energy models and related documentation to support 179D claims.
  • Advise clients on energy-saving strategies and improvements to maximize tax benefits.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive energy efficiency assessments.
  • Stay abreast of changes in tax law and energy policies affecting the 179D deduction.

Cost Segregation Business Development Manager

Position Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic Cost Segregation Business Development Manager to lead our efforts in identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities for cost segregation studies. This role will focus on prospecting, relationship-building, and sales strategy development to expand our client base among commercial real estate investors, property owners, CPAs, and financial decision-makers.

The ideal candidate is a high-energy sales professional with a proven track record in B2B business development, tax incentives, cost segregation, or commercial real estate consulting.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Sales Strategy

  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities with real estate developers, property owners, CPAs, and tax professionals.
  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for cost segregation services.
  • Build a strong sales pipeline and meet/exceed revenue targets.

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Conduct outreach, presentations, and meetings with potential clients to showcase the benefits of cost segregation studies.
  • Establish and maintain long-term partnerships with industry professionals and referral partners.
  • Educate clients on cost segregation tax benefits and guide them through the process.

Proposal Development & Closing Deals

  • Work with internal teams to develop customized proposals and sales materials.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals with decision-makers.
  • Track sales performance metrics and provide regular updates to leadership.

Industry Knowledge & Market Trends

  • Stay up to date on IRS regulations, tax incentives, and commercial real estate trends.
  • Represent the company at networking events, conferences, and industry forums.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience in business development, sales, or consulting within cost segregation, tax incentives, or commercial real estate.
  • Strong ability to generate leads, develop client relationships, and close deals. âś” Knowledge of cost segregation studies, tax strategies, and real estate depreciation is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently or collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales prospecting platforms.
